Mark Jenkins 
Partner/General Manager

Mark Jenkins has spent his whole professional life analysing what makes small businesses successful and then teaching others how to do it. He has worked for the Financial Management Research Centre, a specialist benchmarking company, as an analyst and workshop trainer.
Mark also spent several years in his own consultancy before joining forces with Sean Johns to establish Resurg.

 

Sean Johns
Partner

Sean Johns has worked in training, sales and management positions in education, funds management, banking and retail travel. Prior to forming Resurg, he held the position of director of franchise with a retail travel group, responsible for 380 franchises nationwide with revenue of more than $650 million a year.  Sean brings an acute understanding of small business to his work in Resurg. 

Chris Young 
Operations Manager

Chris Young has 14 years experience in retail business management. He has worked with food retail franchisors such as McDonald’s UK and Boost Juice Bars in both store and regional management.
He completed the McDonald’s Management Development Program and worked for the McDonald’s training department in London, where he ran courses ranging from people management to accounting practices for both franchisees and corporate management. 

Stephen Skehan
Director, Resurg Data Services

Stephen has a wealth of experience in data management and technology integration. Stephen facilitates a seamless, continuous data flow for our clients, from multiple sources in
varied formats. His success stems from ensuring Benchmarking and Business Intelligence is implemented effectively and with the highest degree of accuracy.

Mikhail Zaychenko    
Business Analyst

Mikhail has been performing due diligence, financial analysis and business valuation across various industries for six years.  He graduated from the School of Business at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2010 and joined our team as Business Analyst.

Colin Donohoe
Margin Manager

Colin has more than 10 years experience in sales and management in the grocery retail businesses in Ireland working with market leaders such as The Boyne Valley Group, Supervalu and Dunne’s Stores. He is passionate about delivering the highest standard of customer service and is an excellent communicator. At Resurg Colin coordinates the delivery of our Margin Managers programs for stock based businesses. Colin’s background in stock control, pricing and procurement combined with his positive and vibrant communication skills and ability to affect change have meant he has quickly become a favourite with both Resurg customers and colleagues alike.

Tegan Watts
Project Coordinator 

After graduating from St Patrick's Business College with a Diploma of Event Management, Tegan joined the Resurg Group as Office Administrator in 2011. She quickly displayed a no nonsense approach and the ability to achieve results and has become a very important member of the Resurg team. She is now our Project Coordinator and is the primary point of contact for over 400 Performance Group members across Australia and New Zealand. Tegan and her team work to organise the smooth running of over one hundred Performance Group meetings, each year. ‘I really enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that we are constantly driving improvement and looking for better ways to deliver our Performance Group service and look forward to the day that every Performance Group member gets their financials in on time!’ says Tegan.

Mohammad Darapour
Business Analyst

As a business analyst with Resurg Mohammad brings more than 10 years of experience in software engineering and software development lifecycle. Mohammad has worked in various software industries including banking automation, retail banking and financing, real-time application, content-management solutions and web portals. At Resurg Mohammad works within our Resurg Data Services division where to help develop the popular Resurg dashboard products. Mohammad’s skill in this area is helping hundreds of Resurg clients receive their latest benchmarking results automatically on a monthly basis. ‘To help small business owners receive the same cutting edge data solutions as their large corporate competitors is a real thrill. We are helping them compete against the big players by having the latest data and analysis available at the push of a button’ says Mohammad.

Nakaiya Stucki 
Sales Coordinator 

Since joining Resurg in July 2011 clients keep telling us that they love Nakaiya’s positive outlook and can do attitude.  Nakaiya is our office administrator which covers just about anything but most importantly reception duties and answering the phone. At only 21 Nakaiya has already packed in a variety of work and life experience.  The majority of her work experience has been in retail including managing a clothing retail outlet. This experience has helped her relate to Resurg clients and understand the pressures that small businesses face. In her own time Nakaiya is a talented Dancer . She has also recently travelled internationally including a recent stay of four months in Utah.

Karen Buckley
Client Communications

Karen has 15 years experience in training and development through her own business, with a focus on Business Coaching. She is passionate about helping business owners grow their business, develop profit improvement strategies and create lifestyle. "It's all about working on the business, not working in the business and getting your business to work for you, not work for the business".
Karen still runs her own business and has recently written her first book.

Pip Negus 
Client Communication

Pip is a creative, solution-orientated sales/customer service professional with extensive experience most recently at Sensis and previously TNT. Her 20 years experience is quite varied within Advertising, Telecommunications, Newspaper and Hospitality Industries. Her specialties are in client relationship management, debt collection, sales, sales training support and general problem solving.

Rebecca O'Donnell
Client Communication

Rebecca brings 25 years of business experience to the table. Everything from accounts, sales & marketing, design, manufacturing & production.
At the age of 25, Rebecca started running her families Photographic, Displays & Exhibition company. Rebecca also ran her own marketing business while studying for her Masters in Neuro Linguistic Programming. Working 100+ hours per week for 10 years with no holidays, Rebecca felt that there had to be a smarter way of doing business. Thus, Rebecca has spent the last 10 years developing & implementing streamline working systems from Administrative to Manufacturing. Working with businesses & business people, helping them to work smarter, not just harder & in turn creating a more productive & less stressful working environment for all.

Jorge Fernandez

Travel Industry Specialist

Jorge has worked in diverse areas within the industry, tour operations, wholesale, leisure and retail agencies, consultancy and management. In the last 10 years, Jorge has held many senior executive roles within Online and Corporate travel organisations. Jorge runs the independent business consultancy Applied Sense where he continues to add high value to the industry. Jorge has teamed up with the Resurg Group to provide high end performance management service for their Travel Industry clients. Providing executive level coaching, performance group facilitation and also working together to develop wider ranging travel business improvement programs

Michael Aylen
Stock-based Specialist and Consultant and Business Manager, Margin Managers @ Resurg

Michael Aylen has extensive experience in the retail sector.  He manages several of Resurg’s performance groups and conducts our stock-based training workshops, which are important components of our profit improvement methodology. Michael also conducts in-house consulting projects on business improvement. He works with individual owners in their business to understand their specific issues and deliver implementation plans for profit improvement via the Margin Managers @ Resurg. He works with clients such as Mitre 10, CRT and Chemtura.

Jenny Watson
Travel Industry Trainer and Consultant

Jenny has 26 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industries in both retail and corporate environments. Jenny commenced her career managing retail travel agencies before taking on a role in one of Australia's largest construction and engineering businesses, delivering high quality end-to-end corporate travel management solutions. Most recently before joining Resurg, Jenny successfully founded her own independent travel consultancy providing corporate travel and accommodation solutions to clients such as the Wesfarmers Group.
 

Daniel Mesiti
Performance Group Facilitator

Daniel Mesiti has over 20 years experience in the ownership and management of small businesses and franchise food outlets. He is a highly successful franchisee at Boost Juice where he is part owner in five stores and has been awarded for both outstanding sales growth and ground breaking local marketing initiatives. Daniel’s other business ventures have included starting up and selling a successful café in the Sydney CBD, as well as  owning two others. He also part owns a finance broking and a bookkeeping company. 

Mike LoRicco
Margin Managers @ Resurg Consultant & Performance Group Facilitator

Mike LoRicco has over 33 years experience in the ownership and management of hardware, electrical, plumbing and homeware retail businesses, some with up to 50 employees. In a career that has spanned from sweeping the floor to multi store ownership he has gained an inherent understanding of what makes retail businesses profitable and also the challenges the owners of these businesses face.  Mike brings this extensive retail experience to the Margin Managers making him the perfect addition to your pricing and margin management team.
